The report of the Head of the Section of Physical, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine presents the most significant results of fundamental and applied research obtained during the period 2020—2025. It is emphasized that the activities of the Section were aimed primarily at solving urgent problems related to strengthening the state's defense capability and the future reconstruction of Ukraine. The main tasks of the Section for the next period are formulated. Certain areas of the Section's activity are considered in more detail in the speeches of Academicians-Secretaries of the departments that are part of it.
