Surface vortex energizers: fundamental achievements and novel applications
Abstract
Surfaces structured with indentations various shape demonstrate specific hydrodynamic features amongst those are side-to-side oscillating vortex and prevail heat transfer augmentation over pressure drop growth. These physical properties can be employed in novel vortex technologies aerothermodynamics. Primary fundamental anhievements along with a few novel a.plications for aviation, energy machine-building and other industries are given in this paper.
