The article shows that the fourth industrial revolution marked the beginning of formation a powerful scientific, technical and industrial landscape for a qualitatively new arms race, the essence of which is to create autonomous lethal weapons based on artificial intelligence - killer robots that can completely replace humans on the battlefield. Such weapons can dramatically change the nature of war, as well as affect the attitude to it as a social phenomenon. The negative aspects of the creation of deadly autonomous weapons and the likelihood of threats to geopolitical stability in the world are considered. The author also considers what asymmetric actions Ukraine can use during the current aggression of the Russian Federation.
