Computer technology and scientific progress

Abstract

The article discusses the problems associated with the development of modern computer technology. The important role played by mathematical modeling, optimization techniques, algorithmic programming language, methodology of information security in systems, perfection of modern computers, on which computer technology is implemented, is noted. A brief analysis of the major developments in this field made over the last 5-7 years by the scientists of the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine is given.
