Problems and prospects of creating and using hydrogen power sources

Abstract

The report discusses the results of joint research by chemists and materials scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on solving a number of key issues in the development and application of environmentally safe hydrogen power sources in various sectors of the economy. In particular, the concept of safe and at the same time economically feasible storage of hydrogen in cylinders with a sorbent has been developed and materials for the manufacture of proton-conducting membranes of fuel cells have been created.
