Integration Principles of Ukrainian Scientific Information Sphere

Abstract

Conceptual positions of National abstracting system, created by two largest information institutions — The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and Information Recording Institute of NAS of Ukraine are determined. As its principle there has been taken unification of distributed analytical and synthetic processing of domestic scientific literature with centralized formation of the nation-wide abstract database «Ukrainika Naukova». Considered aspects of its use: issue of printed and CD-ROM-copies of Ukrainian Abstracting Journal «Djerelo», online access to the database, creation of National electronic library on the base of abstracting resources, organization of international exchange of abstracting information.
