Abstract

The natural variety of errors in verbal scientific language indicates that, in addition to ordinary errors that can be corrected philologically, there are more complex, substantive and content errors, the detection and correction of which requires the involvement of other knowledge – science-of-science one. Still little known, such errors are invariantly widespread in various ethnolinguistic scientific and educational contents and are subject to attributive science-of-science diagnosis in accordance with the principles of attributive science of science, a new field in science of science, conceived and developed in Ukraine. Such errors are made up of false substantive interpretations of dissimilar realities, the adequate description of which is possible on the basis of knowledge about object-substantive and subject-cognitive verbal scientific sublanguages. The unity of the fragments of these sublanguages gives a complete verbal scientific language and a reflection of all verbal scientific and educational contents. Development of an attributive science-of-science is a world-class Ukrainian priority.
