Abstract

The article is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Ukrainian scholar, folklorist, ethnographer, cultural critic, art historian, literary critic, bibliographer, well-known public, cultural, and educational figure, Doctor of Philology (1992), foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1997), full member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society (1989), Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Studies in Slovakia and President of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Slovakia (1990), Head of the Research Division of the Department of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Presov, Professor at the Ukrainian Free University in Munich, Honorary Professor at Kamianets-Podilskyi University, Honorary Doctor of Sciences at Uzhhorod University Mykola Mushynka.
