Language policy in Ukraine in the first quarter of the XXI century

The report discusses the major developments in the language legislation and language policy in Ukraine and the role of the O.O. Potebnia Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in their scientific support. The ideology of official monolingualism which is the basis of the national language legislation fully corresponds to the task of consolidation of the Ukrainian nation in the face of Russian aggression.
