The threat of helium deficit and Ukraine's possible participation in overcoming it

Abstract

The article analyzes the helium content of oil and gas fields located in Ukraine. It is shown that the helium content in the zones of intensive gas accumulation exceeds 0.05—0.1 % on average. According to the authors, the production of helium concentrate in Ukraine from the gas mixture of hydrocarbon fields is economically feasible, which is especially important in the face of the threat of helium shortage in the world.
