Abstract

The article analyzes the state and possibilities of development of scientific periodicals of the Academy in wartime. The basic principles of the publishing policy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are presented. It is shown that, despite the traditionalism and conservatism, certain changes are gradually taking place in scientific periodicals under the influence of internal and external factors. Despite the fact that the war caused many problems in academic publishing, it opened up unique opportunities for Ukraine to access global research infrastructures, brought us closer to modern trends in practice, pushed us to master the latest information and communication technologies, and raised the world's interest in Ukraine to a level never before achieved. The question now is whether we can use this window of opportunity to optimize the network of publications, unite them professionally, and consolidate our efforts to support the best ones.
