Prospects of the production and use of syngas from coal deposits in Ukraine

Abstract

There has been examined the possibilities of the development for production of syngas from coal deposits in Ukraine in order to overcome the energy dependence of the country on energy carriers imports and diversification of energy supply through development of the domestic sources of the fuel resources. There is considered the outlook for implementation of the international investment project “High-tech production of motor fuel from a coal”, which envisages the creation of an industrial production of motor fuel from syngas by Fischer — Tropsch process in Ukraine.
