In the communication it is noted that the scientific and technical support of nuclear energy is extremely important and requires the qualitative and quantitative improvement. It is noted that the organization of scientific research requires primarily the coordinated program of cooperation of institutions of NAS of Ukraine with National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom”. It is supposed to update the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the NAS of Ukraine and NNEGC “Energoatom” and to develop measures for greater involvement of academic institutions in solving the problems of development of nuclear power complex of Ukraine
