Abstract

The current status and the perspectives of low frequency radio astronomy in Ukraine are shown. UTR-2 and URAN decameter waves radio telescopes for the range of 8—32 MHz are still largest in the world and the best in the informativeness. Some important astrophysical detections were carried out due to deep upgrade of the radio telescopes as well as due to the creation of the additional GURT instrument for the range of 8—80 MHz. Modern information and telecommunication technologies were implemented. Ukrainian low frequency radio astronomy means with their future upgrade have good perspectives for the national and international scientific projects. They are keeping and developing Ukrainian priority in this actual field of the basic science.
