State-of-the-Art and a Progress in Polymer Chemistry

ХІІІ Ukrainian conference on macromolecules «ВМС-2013»

Abstract

ХІІІ Ukrainian conference on macromolecules «ВМС-2013» was held 7—10 October, 2013 in the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine). The Conference had been organized under support of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Mendeleev Ukrainian Chemical Society, Scientific Board on Chemistry and Modification of Polymers of the NAS of Ukraine and Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine. In the work of the Conference took part nearly 200 scientists from 15 academic institutions and 28 high education institutions and universities of Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Romania. Main topics of «ВМС-2013» were related to various directions in current polymer science and included polymer synthesis and modification, physics and physical chemistry of polymers, polymers in solutions and melts, polymer blends and composites, polymers and environment, polymers in medicine, nanomaterials, membrane materials, technology of polymer materials, etc.
