Abstract

Creative scientific way of outstanding scientist of the twentieth century academician Victor Mykhailovich Glushkov is considered in the paper. A pioneer in the field of informatics and cybernetics, academician Glushkov is known for his scientific achievements of the world level in the field of mathematics, computer science, cybernetics, computer engineering and programming, creating strong scientific schools for these areas. The main attention is paid to the mathematical works and architectural ideas of V.M. Glushkov, related to the intellectualization of computers and the implementation of one of his brightest dreams — creating a computer model of the human mind.
