Coal-Water Slurry Fuel: Current Status and Prospects

The analysis of current state of problems associated with creation and use of coal-water based fuel as alternative substitute to oil-based products and natural gas is presented. The basic milestones of the development of research works carried out in the world concerning the above problem are considered. The main technologies to obtain coal-water based fuel which are used in the different countries are also considered. The current state and prospects to use coalwater passed fuel in Ukraine are given.
