Abstract

The article briefly covers the mineralogy of the two most popular gemstones in Ukraine — topaz and beryl. They originated in the chamber pegmatites of Volyn and are well represented in the Museum of Precious and Decorative Stones in the town of Khoroshiv, Zhytomyr Region. Named crystals of topaz and beryl exhibited in this museum are described.
