Abstract

The article examines the problems of Ukraine’s energy sector functioning, in particular, the difficult state of communal (municipal) heat energy, taking into account the destruction of the energy infrastructure of settlements, and the tasks to ensure reliable energy supply of residential and public buildings during the war and in post-war period. A list of priority scientific research and scientific and technological developments aimed at creating new competitive scientific and technical products, necessary during martial law to maintain energy security and achieve energy independence of the country and its regions, is given.
