Abstract

G.S. Pisarenko Institute for Problems of Strength of the NAS of Ukraine is known in the world as one of the leading scientific centers for the study of wide range of modern problems in experimental mechanics of deformable solids, strength of materials and structural elements. The article is dedicated to the memory of the director of the Institute, one of the most famous researchers in the field of oscillations of regular mechanical systems with broken cyclic symmetry, doctor of technical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoly P. Zinkovsky.
