Characteristics of the work of the United Power System of Ukraine in synchronous mode with the Continental European Power System

Abstract

The report states that in the process of preparing the United Power System (UPS) of Ukraine for the transition to synchronous work with the European power grid, a number of scientific and technical tasks arose, and relevant institutions of the NAS of Ukraine took an active part in accomplishing them. These works were performed within the framework of a series of targeted research programs of the NAS of Ukraine "Integration". Obtained results enabled to successfully execute, under difficult circumstances, the transition of the UPS of Ukraine to the regime of full synchronization with the European power network ENTSO-E and separation from the power systems of Russia and Belarus.
