Abstract

The article outlines the main milestones of the 30-years period of development of the domestic scientific sphere after Ukraine's independence, analyzes the role and contribution of scientific institutions of the Section of Physical, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine in the development of scientific research, creation of scientific basis for innovative modernization of the industrial sector of the Ukrainian economy, the formation of modern information society, strengthening the defense capabilities of our country.
