Як оцінити широту аудиторії наукового періодичного видання?

У статті проаналізовано простий та ефективний спосіб визначення широти кола авторів наукового видання незалежно від його тематичного спрямування, що дає змогу оцінити рівень монополізованості конкретного періодичного видання чи їх тематичної групи. За допомогою індексу Херфіндаля — Хіршмана оцінено рівень монополізованості наукових періодичних фахових видань, тобто кількісний розподіл авторів певного журналу за афіліацією (офіційним місцем роботи). Розрахунки виконано на прикладі наукових журналів, у складі засновників яких є Національна академія наук України та наукові установи, що входять до Секції суспільних і гуманітарних наук НАН України (відділень економіки; історії, філософії та права; літератури, мови та мистецтвознавства) за 2015–2017 рр. Показано, що журнали НАН України, які висвітлюють питання у сфері суспільних і гуманітарних досліджень, значною мірою монополізовані їхніми установами-засновниками.
