The article examines the latest trends in the development of international legal relations in the field of exploration and use of celestial bodies’ resources, which was prompted by the United States' initiation of the international program "Artemis". Nine countries of the world, including Ukraine, have joined this program, formalizing their intentions by signing the so-called Artemis Accords. Given that the international legal regime for the exploitation of the resources of Moon, Mars, asteroids, and other celestial bodies is still not defined, and there is no unity in the doctrine of space law in this regard, the article attempts to determine the legal basis for Ukraine's participation, the opportunities that open up for it, as well as the tasks that arise in this regard for the domestic entities of space activities and the State, which is responsible for all space activities carried out under its jurisdiction.References
