Abstract

The method of numerical solution of the inverse unstable problem of resistivity logging for oil and gas is considered. It is shown that it is possible to introduce a simple physically meaningful criterion of reliability for a solution of the resistivity logging inverse problem. An example of the use of this criterion for four-probe low-frequency induction logging in a nonconducting well is given.
