Abstract

The interaction in molten systems MIPO3−FeO(Fe2O3)−MICl (MI – Li, Na, K) is investigated. The conditions of the formation of phosphates γ-Li3PO4 and NaFePO4 and the crystallization of hematite type Fe2O3 are discovered. The obtained compounds are characterized by IR spectroscopy and powder X-ray diffraction. The possibility of using these systems to produce materials with combined magnetic and electrical properties is shown.
