Abstract

A new criterion of thermal-hydraulic efficiency, which provides a more reasonable ranking and comparison of heat intensifiers is proposed. It is shown that, for f / f0 < 16, the quality factor of the known heat transfer intensifiers varies from 0.4...0.48 to 1.0.
