Вперше для Летичiвщини описано три алювiальних рiвня з “карпатською галькою“. Породи верхнього рiвня, що вiдносились ранiше до балтської свiти, залягають на вододiлi i корелюються iз стольниченсько-ананьєвськими верствами. В породах нижнього рiвня (с. Копитенцi) крiм молюскiв зустрiнутi залишки ссавцiв Microthus cf. pitimis, Dicrostonix sp. i Mammuthus trogontheri.
