Abstract

The cytotoxic effects of α-tocopherol short-chain derivatives and α-tocopherylsuccinate on rat thymocytes are accompanied by the proteolytic degradation of DT-diaphorase. The cytoprotective effect of native α-tocopherol is not associated with an increased level of the enzyme.
