Abstract

Within the framework of the linearized theory of elasticity for bodies with initial stresses, the propagation of axisymmetric waves in laminated composite compressible materials with initial stresses at the slipping of layers is investigated in the case of propagation along the layers. The dispersion equations for quasi-longitudinal and quasi-transversal waves and their long-wave approximations are obtained.
