Spectroscopic markers of biological molecules and their application in biotechnology and medicine: status and prospects

The report presents the results of experimental and theoretical research carried out at the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Ukraine to investigate, using spectral analysis and numerical modeling methods, the physical mechanisms of the functioning of various biological macromolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, lipids), supramolecular nanoscale biological systems (biological membranes) and nanostructures (nanostructured surfaces and nanoparticles) containing biological molecules.
