The report presents the main results of fundamental and applied research in the field of plasma and hybrid technologies conducted at the Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the prospects for widespread practical application of developments related to the creation of new plasma-arc technologies for obtaining, processing, joining and 3D printing of products from the novel materials for the repair restoration of critical parts of gas turbine engines, aircraft structures, as well as for increasing the durability and survivability of critical elements of special equipment.
