August 21 marks the 85th anniversary of outstanding mathematician, laureate of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and technology (1986), honored worker of science and technology of Ukraine (2019), laureate of nominal prizes of the NAS of Ukraine named after M.M. Bogolyubov (2002) and M.V. Ostrogradskyi (2009), chief researcher of the Department of Theoretical Physics of the B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (1976), professor (1989), academician of the NAS of Ukraine (1990) Leonid A. Pastur.
