The state of biosafety in Ukraine and ways to improve it

Abstract

The report states that biosafety is one of the main components of national security in any country, and its goals are primarily to develop measures to prevent the emergence of biothreats and effectively eliminate their consequences. The state of biosafety in Ukraine is assessed and the most important and most dangerous threats of biological origin for our country are identified. It is emphasized that scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine pay great attention to biosafety issues and conduct research aimed at combating biothreats.
