The article tries to renew the discussion on revising the understanding of sustainable development in the Anthropocene based on the objective existence of the Planetary Boundaries. An analysis of the effectiveness of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 as of 2025 has shown that the basic structure of sustainable development and the current global economic system on which they are based are unable to ensure their achievement in accordance with their distinguished parameters. The systemic dimensions and geographical scales of transformations of social development on the way to balance and coherence of the existence of society and economy within the limited Earth global ecosystem are outlined.
