Abstract

The current state of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine is considered, taking into account trends in the global steel industry and problems of national security of Ukraine. The evaluation of the problems and opportunities associated with the development of domestic industry is provided. Formed proposals to strengthen government influence on the development of metallurgy in Ukraine.
