Abstract

The professors’ role in commercialization of scientific knowledge on the example of UK is analyzed. The system of support for cooperation between professors and companies.is considered. Schemes «Knowledge transfer partnership» and «Executive short projects» that are used by the UK universities are presented. The procedure of the commercialization of intellectual property at the Coventry University is described.
