Portable Multifunctional Monitor for the Measurement of Radon alpha-Radiation in the Environment

The paper proves the necessity of creating new technologies and equipment for real time control and monitoring of radon in the environment. The basic specifications of the monitor set up for measuring radon alpha radiation in the environment are presented. Its main differences from existing prototypes are given.
