Production of Composite Adapters from Materials Steel 20, 12Х18Н10Т Welded in Solid Phase for the Increase of Service Life and Operate Reliability of NPS Pipelines

Abstract

Laminated compositions of low-carbon steels and stainless-steel 12Cr18Ni10Ti are produced by the method of welding in solid phase on vacuum rolling mill. These compositions are produced directly or through barrier interlayer of nickel. Microstructure and properties of joint boundaries are investigated after the rolling and thermal treatment at 500 and 600оC of different duration. Mechanical properties of composites are studied in 20-500оC temperature range. Keeping of high strength properties of composite with nickel interlayer allows recommending its use as adapters during the fusion welding of tubes of heterogeneous metals.
