Operating Model of Semiconductor Sensors with Fractal Structure

Abstract

The model of operation of semiconductor nanodispertion fractal gas sensitive element (SE) is designed. The method of determination of the fractal dimension of sensitive mass by measuring the resistance at high frequencies is shown. The mechanism of SE electron delocalization during adsorption of gas molecules, leading to the formation of through-flow paths of charges, is proposed. The dependence of SE conductivity from fractal dimension change of its sensitive mass in the adsorption of gas molecules, which is the basis of the method of gas detection by sensors with SE fractal structure.
